It was the 4th year of the New Teddington Pram Race.
12 Teams took part supported by our own house band.
The expected rain did not happen and it was another brilliant Pram Race and Fair.
The Masonettes from the Masons Arms won Most Sponsorship Raised.
The Orange Squad from THWVCG were the fastest team over the course.

The Teddington 800 team Beer on a Bier won Best Dressed Team or Pram.

We supported two charities this year.

MOMENTUM supports local families who have a child with cancer or who is life-limited; over half of whom are being treated at Kingston Hospital. They also support bereaved families, who have suffered the death of their child. The support from the Pram Race will specifically support Teddington children and families.
Momentum does not receive any government funding and so donations from local organisations and events are important in helping them to continue their work.

We also supported the TEDDINGTON800 1217-2017 appeal. This celebrates Teddington having been a parish for 800 years. We will be donating a proportion of Pram Race funds to build an essential extension to our historic (St Mary with St Alban’s) church. The extension will house a toilet and a kitchenette which will enable the church to be used as an additional community resource as the Church Hall in Langham Road is already fully utilised on most days.

Thanks to you all the Pram Race raised £5500
Rae and Tony presented the cheques.
